​Our background
​
Dagmaker was established by three like minded technical leaders and entrepreneurs from the e-commerce and IT industry. With more than 55 years of experience between them, the founders of Dagmaker had already built and established numerous applications and solutions for enterprise clients across the e-commerce, retail, telecommunications and banking sector. Within the e-commerce space the trio had also established several ventures and online stores and began building technical solutions that helped increase their monthly turnover by tenfold in a matter of months.
The need and birth of Dagmaker
With the founders of Dagmaker coming from an enterprise background, they were used to clients expecting mission critical applications that incorporated watertight security, high uptime & availability, data resiliency, world class support and stringent service level agreements. Looking to use applications to enhance their own e-commerce ventures they found the market was lacking with enterprise level solutions with the majority of cross listing offerings either being too buggy, lacking adequate support or inflexible to user requirements. Based on this the founders of Dagmaker developed their own solution with the aim of developing an enterprise offering solely using it for their own e-commerce platforms. Within 4 months of using this solution they found their revenue increase 10 times and the first iteration of Dagmaker was born.
